- You are experiencing a fever, cough, or shortness of breath – now or within the last 10 days.
- You have traveled anywhere outside the Chicago area within the last 10 days or have a family member who has traveled on a plan within the last 10 days
- You have had close contact with anyone known to have tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 10 days.
Please consider rescheduling your routine annual exam if you are at higher risk for complications of this virus (immunocompromised, have chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, lung disease or heart disease, or are an older adult). Health maintenance is an important part of our mission. However, we are mindful of social distancing guidelines and we are happy to accommodate requests to reschedule routine visits. We will also provide courtesy prescription refills on eye drops and contacts until your rescheduled appointment.
Another option for connecting with our physicians is through North Shore Connect. Please sign up here and you will be able to email our providers. For emergencies, please page the on-call doctor by calling our office and following the answering machine prompts.
We are making every extra effort to clean and sanitize our waiting rooms, patient check-in areas, and examination rooms after every patient for patients who need to come into the office during this time.
To minimize your time in our waiting rooms, we strongly encourage you to call upon arrival and we will move you directly into a room. To follow social distancing guidelines, we ask that you make every effort to secure childcare prior to your visits.
Please understand that our providers and staff will also be following social distancing guidelines whenever possible during your visit. We can all work together to prevent spread of germs by washing hands, utilizing hand sanitizer, and avoiding handshakes and hug in the offices.
